King Koil App is a product provided by King Koil Bedding (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (hereinafter referred to as “we”). When you use our services, we may collect and use your relevant information. We hope to explain through this Privacy Policy how we collect, use, store, and share this information when you use our services, as well as the ways we provide you with access, updates, control, and protection of this information.
This Privacy Policy is closely related to the services provided by King Koil Malaysia that you use. 1. The Information We Collect
When we or our third-party partners provide services, we may collect, store, and use certain personal data about you. If you choose not to provide the required information, you may not be able to register as our user, access certain features, or enjoy the full functionality of our services.
Personal Data: The personal data you provide when registering an account or using our services, such as your name, phone number, email address, or other contact details.
Sticker Information: When using the Bluetooth Assistant to configure or debug the Bluetooth connection of your device, certain commands may be entered to obtain the Bluetooth communication protocol of the sticker. Company-related contact details may also be copied or displayed when accessing “My” → “About Us.”
Location Data: Refers to information collected about your location when you enable device positioning and use our location-based services (mainly when Bluetooth scanning and pairing require GPS assistance). When you use our services through a mobile device with location capabilities, your location data may be collected through GPS, Wi-Fi, or other technologies. You may disable location tracking at any time by turning off the location function on your device.
2.Application List Information:
We use merge-link technology for technical push purposes. When a device has multiple active app push links, they may be merged into one link to reduce power consumption and data usage. Therefore, access to the application list information is required. This also enables our intelligent push feature, which recommends push content that better matches your preferences while reducing irrelevant notifications.
Network and Location Information

To maintain stable network connections and establish long links whenever possible, we need to understand the network status and any changes on your device. This allows us to deliver continuous and stable push services.
We also provide on-demand push functionality, where limited location-related information helps us deliver more relevant notifications for offline or location-based scenarios, reducing unnecessary push messages.

3. We need to obtain permission for your mobile phone
3.1 Network permissions and network connection status (permission.INTERNET, permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE), mainly used for various network interactions between this APP and the server, and to check the current network status.
3.2 Permission to dial and make phone calls (permission.CALL_PHONE), mainly to facilitate users to easily dial and make phone calls to our customer service within the app with just one click.
3.3 Read and write permissions (permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) refer to obtaining permission to read the phone's memory card through this APP, mainly for locally saving TXT logs and updating, upgrading, downloading, and installing APKs online.
3.4 GPS / Location positioning permissions (permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION, permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION) are mainly required for the new system to use Bluetooth functionality.
3.5 Bluetooth scanning and connection (permission.BLUETOOTH_SCAN, permission.BLUETOOTH_CONNECT). The main purpose of this app is to connect to the smart Bluetooth devices developed by our company through Bluetooth, and it needs to enable Bluetooth-related functions and permissions.
3.6 Vibration (permission.VIBRATE), the system vibration function is activated when the APP remote control panel is clicked or pressed.
4. Storage of Information
4.1 Information Storage Methods and Duration
We will store your information securely, including through local storage (such as using the app for data caching), databases, and server logs. In general, we will only retain your personal information for the time necessary to achieve the service objectives or as required by applicable laws and regulations.
4.2 Regions for Information Storage**
We will store the personal information of users collected within Malaysia in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations, including the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). At present, we do not transfer or store your personal information outside of Malaysia. If cross-border transmission or storage becomes necessary in the future, we will inform you of the purpose of such transfer, the recipient, security measures, and potential security risks, and obtain your consent before proceeding.
4.3 Notice of Discontinuation of Product or Service Operation**
When our products or services cease operation, we will notify you through push notifications, announcements, or other appropriate means, and delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period of time, except as otherwise required by laws and regulations.
